Partner with TCAN

The Tax Credit Alliance of Nebraska (TCAN) is committed to strengthening financial well-being across the state by providing free, high-quality tax preparation services to low- and moderate-income individuals and families. We recognize that meaningful impact is possible through collaboration - and we’re always looking to grow our network of partners.

Whether you’re a community organization, financial institution, or public service agency, there are multiple ways to collaborate with TCAN during and beyond tax season.

Let’s Collaborate

If your organization is interested in partnering with TCAN - whether through hosting a site, offering banking products, or delivering financial education - we want to hear from you. Together, we can help Nebraskans access the services and resources they need to thrive.

Become or Host a Partner Site

We're looking for organizations interested in hosting or operating a TCAN partner site. Sites can vary in size and scope, but all play a vital role in offering free tax assistance within their communities. If you have a location and a desire to support economic stability for Nebraska families, we’d love to talk.

Financial Institutions: Offer Accessible Banking Options

We welcome partnerships with financial institutions that want to promote products tailored to the needs of low- and moderate-income taxpayers. This may include:

  • Low or no-fee temporary direct deposit accounts
  • Accounts that can be converted to standard checking/savings after filing
  • Tools to support financial stability and safe banking access

These offerings are especially valuable during tax season, when taxpayers may be receiving refunds and looking for safer, more reliable ways to manage their money.

Offer On-Site Educational Presentations

TCAN also invites agencies, nonprofits, and financial experts to give educational presentations at our tax prep sites during the filing season. Topics might include:

  • Saving and budgeting
  • Building or repairing credit
  • Retirement and investing basics
  • Insurance and health care planning
  • Preventing fraud and identity theft

We ask that presentations remain educational in nature, rather than strictly promotional or sales-oriented. Our goal is to empower taxpayers with tools and knowledge to improve their long-term financial health.
