Tax Preparer
- Completed ‘Advanced’ tax law, Standards of Conduct, and Intake, Interview, & Quality Review IRS Examinations.
- Built trust with clients by using active listening skills in interviewing, preparing, and finalizing tax return.
- Interviewed clients regarding all income, deductions, and credits.
- Directly prepared taxpayers’ federal and state tax returns and answered tax related questions.
- Problem solved complex tax returns in preparing an accurate return.
- Worked extensively with the calculation of taxable scholarship income and allowable education credits.
Quality Reviewer
- Completed ‘Advanced’ tax law, Standards of Conduct, and Intake, Interview, & Quality Review IRS Examinations.
- Supervised tax preparers as they interviewed clients regarding all income, deductions, and allowable credits.
- Reviewed clients tax documents and prepared return, determining accuracy, following IRS guidelines for Quality Reviews.
Assistant Site Coordinator
- Completed Site Coordinator, ‘Advanced’ tax law, Standards of Conduct, and Intake, Interview, & Quality Review IRS Examinations with a score of 80% or higher.
- Transmit e-file prepared tax returns.
