TCAN History Timeline. 1975 – The first Lincoln VITA sites were at GateWay Mall and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s City Campus Union, 1982 – Lincoln VITA expanded to the College of Law and the Lincoln Public Libraries, 1983 – Over 100 Nebraska communities offer VITA/TCE Sites, 1988 – First International Student and Scholar VITA sites offered, 2001 – First e-filed returns, 2003 – Lincoln EITC Coalition was organized, 2015 – UNL began leading the Lincoln EITC Coalition, 2022 –Tax Credit Alliance of Nebraska was formed
